Chris founded Eaglefire Winery in 2009, producing his first wines in Houston’s historic Heights district. By 2013, Eaglefire had expanded to more than 1,000 cases annually and earned multiple gold medals at major U.S. competitions, including the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Wine Competition. Later that year, Eaglefire was acquired by Braman Brands, which built a new winery facility in Richmond, Texas. Chris served as Director of Winemaking for two years before departing in 2015 to launch Tribal Hill—an independent project focused on distinctive Texas wines.
